I do like photoshop. It's cool. I did some slight curves adjustments with it. But sometimes there is no substitute for reality:)
To do these, get a slow shutter speed (1/4 second or less), hold the lens steady with your left hand, and turn the camera with your right as you press the shutter.
Also, it's a good way to figure out how much junk is on your image sensor as the spots are the only still part of the frame.
I'm offically stunned. The top picture is amazing. I'm dying to try the same effect.
