So I'm starting to do portraits for a few friends and family. Professional studios have tons of lights and backdrops and space and assistants. I'm more of the low-budget school of thought. We hung a few sheets (on the front porch), took some pictures, and entertained my curious neighbors across the street. The major drawback was that I spent forever cloning out wrinkles in the sheets. So adding to my wishlist - a 10'by 20' backdrop with hooks to hang it from the side of the house!
Oh, and in case you're curious about other portrait shooting wish-list items: A 20x30 foot American flag. . . A cherry-picker. . . An island in the Carribean. . . A 55mm f1.5 lens. . . you know, just the basics :)

That's a great shot. I want to get a backdrop and a couple studio lights too. Maybe one day. Until then, I might try the sheet idea. :)
