Revisited an old picture the other day and thought it would fit a "divine" photofriday theme. Layered the image, set gaussian blur to 10, and set light to overlay - a trick learned from Chromasia and Massimo's photoblog.
I recall a fantastic Salgado image with little blown specs of highlights bleeding into the surrounding image - I think it could be used on this image if I can figure out how to do a less controlled dodge. But that will be a project for another, day I suppose.
Here's the original if you care to see the difference - http://davidunplugged.blogspot.com/2005/02/walking-on-water-bather-at-hot-springs.html
I like your edit, this is a good one. The perspective is quite unique, you had good instinct in shooting it this way. And the light is just right, for the contrast between the water and the dark dress of the guy.

What a great perspective. It really looks like some one walking on top of the watter. And you did and excellent work with the edition ;)
I really like it, and thanks for passing along the tip! it's a great effect for water, and the perspective is truely unique.
Appropriate title! Neat angle.
