Mongolia Panorama

Photofriday theme this week is "massive." The Mongolian steppe may be the widest, most open landscape I've ever been to in my life. For scale, if you look at the dead center of the shot, you can see Martha, who is no more than a speck of white. If I ever go again, I am definitely going to invest in a true panoramic camera!

Taken at 18mm, cropped, and adjusted levels.
Just an hour east of Ulaan Baatar, the nation's capital.

I've been to Mongolia. Although living in Ulaanbataar was alright, it was the country side that was magnificent.
