Tried to frame this little guy in the spot of sunlight on an orange door behind it. Once again, don't know the species. But interestingly it shared a garden in southwest China with several Marijuana plants. The proprietor proudly showed them off - I quickly realized why Dali is such a popular hippie destination.
Totally unrelated - do these pictures show up a bit pixellated on your screen? We just got a new laptop, and I'm wondering if it's just me.
Isn't amazing to see how God is so wise that he made beautiful combinations of colors in things as simple as a flower?. I wonder if our knowledge of what color goes with what color was taken from what we see around us.
As for your question I don't see any thing wrong with the picture but for sure laptops screens can be so trucky.
I was going to say that I liked a lot the way you framed the flower with the swath of light behind when I read your comment. I cannot agree more your your choice.
Marijuana plants are apparently also very common in the area where I was born in northern Italy. The plant (hemp) has been used for centuries as a textile fiber.
It doesn't look pixelated at all, al least on my screen. Smooth... sharp on the petals, and a little softer on the pistils.
