Dragon Dance - Pingtung

These are two-man dragons - one as the head and one as the tail, thus causing the awkward and entertaining movements. Depending on the skill of the operators, the dragons can also chomp their teeth and wiggle their bushy eyebrows.

This is from a festival the very first weekend in Taiwan. I was expecting everyday in Asia to look like this, but this is the first and last dancing dragon I've seen.

I would love to see this shot larger. This would definatly look great framed. Nice shot.

There's an excellent battle between two "dragons" at the beginning of the Jackie Chan film "Young Master". They even "eat" lettuce!
