Water Curtain - Baiyang Waterfall Trail

Returning to Taroko Gorge was bittersweet. I got this picture, which I've been dreaming about for the past three months. But one of our favorite spots by the Liwu River (where the picture Nightfall was taken) was guarded by angry construction workers. The Hot Springs (Walking on Water) are also closed due to a recent landslide, the decision yet to be made as to whether it will reopen.

Taking a picture inside a waterfall was a little precarious. I took an umbrella, but still got soaked - realizing after a few minutes that the mist was rising upwards and rendering the umberella totally useless. Thankfully the camera survived the endeavor!
