KTV - Pingtung

Karaoke is one of Asia's most popular pastimes. Upper-class families will have a player and sound-system that hooks up to a big-screen TV for entertaining guests. Everyone else goes to either to big neon bars or one of the countless hole-in-the-wall pubs where you can sing classics like Elton John, Bing Crosby, or our favorite, "How much is that doggy in the window?"

These are two of the first images I've shot on RAW - I see the advantages, but the disadvantage is sheer time requirements in post-processing. I tend to shoot a lot, sketching with the camera, as I've heard it called. This past week I shot around 1500 images. I downloaded about 300 initially, and it will probably dwindle down to 50 or so temporary keepers. Processing that quantity in RAW would be a nightmare (unless I was getting paid, which is a different story:) Other small detail - my computer simply can't handle that amount of information.
